What this does. You describe a lesson below. This writes the whole script mentors will hear on WhatsApp, and draws any pictures it needs.

What you need before you start. The lesson number, what the lesson should teach, and a rough running order. That is all. Everything else on this page is optional.

How long it takes. About two minutes. Leave this page open while it works — the script appears here when it is done. Nothing is lost if you wait.

What you get. A link to the finished script, the pictures it drew, and a row in the tracking sheet. To turn the script into audio you use the separate audio tool, and you type the same lesson number there.

You cannot break anything. If something is missing or wrong, this page tells you which box to fix. Nothing is sent until you press the button at the bottom.

A gold star * means that box has to be filled in. The rest you can leave empty.

Lesson Number * Which lesson is this? If it is Lesson 16, type 16. Write it down — you type the same number into the audio tool later, and if the two do not match the audio tool will refuse the file.

Lesson Name * What the lesson is about, in a few words. This becomes the file name in Google Drive, so keep it short.

What should mentors be able to do afterwards? * Write one per line, each starting with “Mentors can”. Two or three is plenty.

How long should the script be? * In minutes, as somebody would hear it. 18 is the usual choice. Anything from 15 to 25.

Running order * The order you want the lesson to go in. Short numbered points are fine — you do not need full sentences.

Who talks in the script? *

The script has conversations in it. These are the people having them. Pick at least three. The first three are already ticked and suit most lessons, so you can leave this alone.

🧭 The Guide Required

Calm, confident, experienced mentor voice. Translates curriculum into mentor-friendly language. Acts as "the experienced mentor in your head."

Use when: Explaining core concepts, providing reassurance, connecting dots between activities

👤 The Practitioner Required

Asks practical, real questions. Voices doubts, shortcuts, or misunderstandings mentors often have. Represents real delivery conditions.

Use when: Addressing time constraints, common mistakes, "what if" scenarios

⚡ The Challenger Required

Pushes on quality, fidelity, and learner experience. Flags risks, misconceptions, or shallow delivery. Brings conversation back to impact.

Use when: Highlighting non-negotiables, preventing shortcuts, ensuring quality delivery

🎓 The Scholar Voice Optional

Represents the student perspective. Shares what scholars might be thinking, feeling, or struggling with during the lesson.

Use when: Building empathy for scholar experience, anticipating student reactions

⏱️ The Timekeeper Optional

Focuses on pacing, time management, and realistic constraints. Helps mentors prioritize and make tough choices when time is limited.

Use when: Lessons have tight timing, multiple activities, or common pacing challenges

💡 Three or four works best. More than that and the conversations get crowded.
